Restoring Hope
Health and Nutrition PROGRAM
Orphans and vulnerable children in Uganda face hunger, malnutrition, and preventable illnesses. Our Health & Nutrition Program delivers food, medical care, and clean water, while also supporting caregivers with the tools they need to raise healthy children.
About the Program
We fight hunger and poor health by providing food relief, medical care, clean water, and nutrition training. Our program also reaches caregivers, especially grandmothers and widowed mothers, equipping them to better care for vulnerable children.
Nutritious Meals & Food Relief
We distribute food staples such as beans, maize, milk, and fortified cereals to families in need, while also helping households start small gardens for long-term nutrition.
Medical Care & Clean Water
Children suffering from malnutrition receive treatment and are linked to essential health services. We also improve access to safe water, hygiene, and sanitation to prevent disease.
Caregiver Support
We extend health and nutrition training to caregivers, ensuring they can provide sustainable care and nourishment to the children they look after.
